Silvana Martinez (she/her) is the Research and Project Coordinator for BEST's Eco-Voyage project, aiming to empower newcomers to navigate the city sustainably through multimodal transportation. As a Human Geographer from UBC, Silvana is passionate about urbanism, community engagement and sustainability. Having experience working with an immigrant-serving organization and supporting key dialogues in SFU Public Square, she believes engaging equity-seeking groups is key to building inclusive spaces, thriving communities, and sustainable urban environments.
